You can simply choose features and options that you prefer other than what is normally included with your home; you can change certain elements within rooms, such as windows, cabinets, fireplaces, etc. without changing the floorplan; or you can modify the flooplan itself by moving walls, adding windows, changing room arrangements, etc.
